From the beginning of time when God declared, “It is not good for man to be alone,” we have shared an intrinsic need to connect with others and to form relationships. It’s what caused the poet to write, “No man is an island.” Because we understand the importance of community, The POM provides all sorts of ways for you to make those connections, no matter your age or stage of life. God has an incredible purpose for your life, and our Pastor’s Meet & Greet is designed to help you connect with that purpose here at extraordinarychurch.ca. Pastor’s Meet & Greet is a 30 minute gathering for new attendees to discover more about extraordinarychurch.ca with Pastor Akil and other church leaders. Join us downstairs immediately after our worship experience! Childcare and refreshments are provided. The Pastor’s Meet & Greet takes place the last Sunday of each month.

The purpose of Growth Track is to help you discover why you’re here and Who you’re here for. In this class, you will spend 2 hours on a Saturday morning diving into what it looks like to follow Jesus, connect to the church, discover your purpose, and make a difference.

Love

We believe the first step everyone should take is to Love God. We believe that knowing him better is the first part of this. When we pray, we pray that we know Him better. When we seek to prioritize our lives, we prioritize to know Him. When we surrender, serve others, behave with humility or sacrifice, and forgiveness, we do it with the sole purpose in mind to know Him. The more we spend time with Him, the more we get to know Him. 

Serve

Our belief at The POM is that as people choose to serve, whether on campus, in our local community, or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives. Check out the ministry opportunities below and get involved right away.

Live

We believe everyone should live out the life God is calling them to. You can do this in multiple ways including going to First Step which you can get connected to each week at Guest central. Also, join us for our weekend Worship Experiences. Our service features compelling, life-changing preaching; powerful music; fantastic programs for kids and students – and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
