Week 5: Sent

A Kingdom Church is a five-week journey about becoming the people Jesus intended His Church to be.

Not merely people who attend.

People who belong. People who carry responsibility. People who grow. People who go.

We began by learning that the Church Jesus builds requires the Spirit Jesus gives.

Then we discovered that there are no spare parts in the Body of Christ. Every member belongs. Every member matters. And because every member matters, every member has a share.

But Jesus does not only care about what we carry. He cares about who we are becoming while we carry it.

So He calls us to grow up. To become truthful, faithful, gracious, forgiving, teachable, and trustworthy.

And finally, He sends us. Because a healthy Church does not exist merely for itself.

There are people beyond our walls who need the Jesus we have encountered.

So EC, this series is our prayer. Would you join us in praying this? Jesus, fill us. Join us. Equip us. Form us. And send us.

We gather to be formed. Then we scatter to represent the King. That is A Kingdom Church.
